Another question that Eric and I get pretty often is about our kickstarter experience and how it works. We had amazing success with kickstarter, but we spent a lot of time prepping before we put ourselves out there too. We both felt like it was taking forever to get everything together to send in for submission to kickstarter. We spent several months prepping samples, getting photos just right and making sure we got the right people to do our video. We had an amazing team of people helping us and we certainly owe part of our success to them. As much as we wanted to get everything going we knew deep down that making sure we had a more than amazing product and material to go along with it would put us on top of the competition. We spent weeks coming up with the levels of rewards, the copy/story and another week sifting through photos to create the best kickstarter campaign we could! We did it and Kickstarter was amazing and very easy to work with. Our best advice to anyone out there thinking about doing a campaign is to get everything in order first, solve any anticipated problems and answer any questions long before they come in!
Have a great Thursday you guys!

When Eric and I are explaining to people the vision and design behind Denim & Spirits a lot of people ask us "what exactly is selvage denim?". We want to create the best product that we can for you guys, we are extremely passionate about finding the best supplies made in the US to create the best end product made right here in Nashville. I recently came across this handy poster that explains selvedge denim much better (and shorter, haha!) than I've been able to! We want you guys to know the passion and dedication that goes into each pair of our jeans so that you have the same passion and dedication to making them your own when wearing them!
